our history
Our roots since 1972
Founded in 1972 by Jean-Guy Théorêt and Monique Lavigne, the company established itself in Montreal's west end and expanded quickly to meet the growing needs of its customers.
A new generation at work
In the 1980s, the founder's five sons joined the family venture, propelling Roxboro into new markets and consolidating its expertise in earthmoving, infrastructure and snow removal.
Expansion and innovation
Since 2000, Roxboro has accelerated its growth with major road and infrastructure projects. The company establishes its own asphalt plants to strengthen quality and continue expanding its expertise on a large scale.
A new generation and a broader vision
In 2017, Roxboro began its transition to a new generation of leaders while merging PRECO Fondations with Groupe MSE. This strategic alliance consolidated its position in deep foundations and underpinning structures, soil stabilization, installation of piles and anchors, and much more.
BauVal & Roxboro Join Forces
In 2020, Roxboro merged with BauVal, creating a Quebec-based leader with over 2,000 employees and a revenue of $650 million. This union allowed us to expand our services in civil engineering, asphalt paving, earthworks, and materials.
