NOTRE-DAME-DE-LOURDES

The bridge is part of a major construction project by Quebec’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. The goal is to replace a structure deemed deficient in order to ensure the safety and long-term viability of Route 265, a major regional thoroughfare.

The work includes:

– The demolition and complete reconstruction of the structure

– Repair of the approach roads and the nearby intersection

– Managing alternating traffic flow throughout the duration of the construction project

During construction:

-Traffic flows in alternating directions at all times

– The bridge may be temporarily closed

– Heavy vehicles are subject to width and load restrictions
