Scope of work consisted of the reconstruction of two bridges on Highway 40 over the Bayonne river and Bayonne Nord Road as well as the restructuring of the interchange at exit 144 between Route 158 and Highway 40 in Berthierville.
Roxboro was awarded the contract by the Ministère des Transports. Works started in the Fall of 2014 with the creation of a temporary detour road and steel bridge launch. Traffic was successfully and progressively deviated thus allowing the demolition of the 2 bridges as well as the successive restructuring of different highway access and exit ramps.

• 2 metal bridge structures
• 48,000 m³ lightweight fill
• 160,000 tn MG20 and MG56 backfill
• 45,000 tn of pavement
• 250 piles of 16’’ in diameter, 40m deep.
