Lachine Canal, Montréal, QC (Griffintown)
October 2014 to August 2015
Contract value: ± $7.5 M
Client: Ville de Montréal
This special project, for the Ville de Montréal’s Drinking Water Management, consisted of the construction, in a very limited work space, of new principal water mains within proximity and underneath the Lachine Canal.
A portion of the 900 and 1,200 mm mains in diameter was buried under the bike paths that run along the canal. The biggest challenge on this project was the digging of a 30-meter deep by 9-meter in diameter temporary well for the installation of the new water mains beneath the canal.
This project was completed within budget and scheduled deadline.
Statistiques:
• 150 meters of mains
